ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST FEAST DAY CELEBRATION Saturday, June 27th, 5:00 - 7:00 PM
The Feast Day Celebration on Jun. 27 is our fourth annual event honoring our church's namesake. It takes place from 5-7 pm, after the 4 pm Mass, on the lawn under the tent.
After Mass, Father Steve will kick things off with a welcome and blessing. Then we will be grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers and folks are welcome to bring a dish to share - salads, sides, desserts. In addition to the delicious food, adults can enjoy games such as ladder ball, corn hole, or bocce. Activities for children include face painting, arts and crafts, a cakewalk , sidewalk chalk, and a mini obstacle course. And at the center of all of the festivities is our special table honoring John the Baptist with a fountain, prayer cards, and info about this saint and his life.
